Nicorette Invisi 15 mg Nicotine Patch

Product description

Is a discreet patch applied to the skin to suppress your need for a cigarette during the day and help you quit with peace of mind

General

Nicorette Invisi 15 mg Nicotine Patch is a hypoallergenic, discreet patch that suppresses your nicotine cravings for 16 hours. The nicotine patch is small and semi-transparent, making it inconspicuous to use. Nicorette® Invisi respects your smoking rhythm, so there is no need to use the patch at night. Use Nicorette® Invisi in combination with Nicorette® Sugar-Free 2mg chewing gum or Nicorette mouth spray if you are a heavy smoker, suffer from recurring uncontrollable urges to smoke, or if a single form of nicotine replacement therapy has previously proven insufficient. This increases your chances of a successful smoking cessation. Nicorette adds strength to your willpower.

  • Helps you stay smoke-free for 24 hours (16 hours patch + 8 hours night's sleep)
  • Apply the nicotine patch in the morning and remove it before bedtime. This prevents sleep disturbances known to be associated with nocturnal nicotine administration
  • Clinically tested and hypoallergenic
  • Is small, inconspicuous, and discreet to use
  • Recommended starting dose if you smoke 15 cigarettes or more per day
  • Respects your biorhythm, as it does not need to be worn at night
  • Is a medicine for adults. Also available with 10 and 15 mg nicotine per patch
  • Combine Nicorette® Invisi with Nicorette® Sugar-Free 2mg chewing gum or mouth spray if you are a heavy smoker

Dosage

Medicine, read the leaflet before use.

Stop smoking completely. Nicorette Invisi should be applied to clean, dry, intact, and hairless skin, such as on the hip, upper arm, or chest. The wearing time is 16 hours. Remove the patch before going to sleep. Never apply the nicotine patch to the same area of skin on two consecutive days. Heavy smokers (smokers who smoke >15 cigarettes per day) should start with Nicorette Invisi 25 mg for 8 weeks and then gradually taper off with Nicorette Invisi 15 mg for 2 weeks and then Nicorette Invisi 10 mg for 2 weeks. Light smokers (smokers who smoke < 15 cigarettes per day) should start with Nicorette Invisi 15 mg for 8 weeks and then Nicorette Invisi 10 mg for 4 weeks.

Contraindications: Non-smokers and children. Recent myocardial infarction. Unstable or progressive angina pectoris. Prinzmetal's variant angina. Severe cardiac arrhythmias. Acute cerebrovascular accident. Patients suffering from a generalized chronic skin condition such as psoriasis, chronic dermatitis, or urticaria.

Application instructions:

  • Wash your hands before applying the patch
  • Cut the pouch open at the side, as indicated, using scissors. Then choose a clean, dry, intact, and hairless area, such as a hip, upper arm, or chest.
  • Remove one part of the aluminum foil as far as possible.
  • Carefully apply the adhesive side of the patch to the skin and remove the rest of the protective foil.
  • Press the patch firmly onto the skin with your palm or fingertips.
  • Rub firmly along the edge of the patch with your fingers to ensure it sticks well.

Heavy smokers (> 15 cigarettes per day): Start treatment with Nicorette Invisi Patch 25 mg for 8 weeks. Afterwards, you must taper off gradually. You can do this by switching to progressively lighter types: first Nicorette Invisi Patch 15 mg for 2 weeks, then Nicorette Invisi Patch 10 mg for another 2 weeks.

Light smokers (< 15 cigarettes per day): Start treatment with Nicorette Invisi Patch 15 mg for 8 weeks. Then switch to Nicorette Invisi Patch 10 mg for another 4 weeks.

Use a new patch every day, apply it in the morning upon waking and remove it again in the evening before sleep.

Never apply the nicotine patch to the same area of skin on two consecutive days.
